Fall Festival was a Great Success
Thanks for coming in to take a peek inside “the place with the flags,” participating in our raffle and auction, kids’ room, face painting and other activities. Our silent auction was available online for the first time in our history, and we received many high bids.
Thanks to all the local artisans who donated handmade soaps, jewelry, pottery, sculpture and artwork. This event wouldn’t be possible without their help and the help of all the volunteers who spent the weekend with us.

The boys are working on wreaths
Preparations for our annual Fall Festival kicked into gear this week as the event loomed. Here is a peek inside the frantic pace that is The Greenhouse School in the days before the fair: Ms. Julia helps as the kids consult craft books, making wreaths, gourds, ornaments, and of course, baked goods. Ms. Sue stopped by to lend a hand with the baking, and Mr. Danny was hard at work at the papermaking station.

We are confident it will somehow come together as it always does; even as the clocked ticked away, we were looking forward to seeing old friends and alumni and welcome them back to school—hoping, of course, that they would bid, buy, play, eat and shop to their heart’s content!
Silent Auction Online and Off
For the first time, we put our greenhouse school annual silent auction online as well as in the school. Select auction items were posted for virtual bidding beginning Saturday morning and closing Sunday afternoon. It was a great success for us and the lucky winners.
Some items became available late and are still open for bidding. Check out the list of items still available.
